Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Reservations Coordinator to join our team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering excellent customer service. The Reservations Coordinator will play a key role in driving sales and revenue through the management of leisure bookings, including liaising with travel agents, tour operators, and direct clients. The position is also responsible for the planning and execution of leisure activities, special events, and guest experiences, ensuring the highest standards of service across departments.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Achieve and exceed revenue targets related to leisure bookings.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with travel agents, tour operators, and group clients.
  • Quote and negotiate effectively to close sales and maximize occupancy.
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage on-site leisure activities, events, and recreational programs.
  • Collaborate with various hotel departments for smooth execution of guest experiences.
  • Support event planning with administrative tasks, including catering, registration, AV setup, and logistics.
  • Promote leisure offerings, including seasonal packages, spa services, and excursions.
  • Manage guest inquiries, special requests, and ensure timely bookings and confirmations.
  • Track guest satisfaction and proactively implement service improvements.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on revenue, conversions, and client engagement.
  • Liaise with event speakers, vendors, and suppliers; arrange accommodations and special requirements.
  • Monitor budgets and maintain cost efficiency for all events and leisure activities.
  • Assist in the development of marketing material and sales strategies in collaboration with the marketing team.
  • Ensure all leisure programs align with the hotel’s service and brand standards.
  • Handle event-related challenges proactively, ensuring a seamless experience for guests and attendees.

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Matric
  • Tertiary qualification in Hospitality or Catering Management
  • 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Experience in the hotel industry will be an advantage

Package & Remuneration

R10 000 – R20 000 basic salary, depending on experience, plus a commission structure
